PJSC Gazprom 3Q Net Profit Fell 45%

Gazprom PJSC (GAZP.RS) said Friday that net profit for the third quarter of 2019 fell 45%, hit by lower sales and higher finance costs.

The Russian gas giant said it made a net profit of 211.79 billion Russian rubles ($3.30 billion) for the three months to Sept. 30 compared with RUB386.45 billion in the year-earlier period.

Sales for the quarter fell to RUB1.622 trillion from RUB1.930 trillion in the same period of 2018, Gazprom said.
