据道琼斯12月17日消息，意大利石油巨头埃尼公司周一表示，公司董事会和印尼政府已经批准了公司位于印尼东加里曼丹的Merakes海洋天然气项目的开发计划。

Merakes海洋天然气项目位于Kutei盆地，临近于埃尼公司于2017年投产的Jangkrik天然气田。地理上接近将允许埃尼公司使用现有的基础设施运输天然气。

Eni Gets Approval for Merakes Gas Project in Indonesia

Eni SpA (ENI.MI) said Monday that its board of directors and the Indonesian government have approved the oil major's development plan for the Merakes natural gas project offshore East Kalimantan.

Merakes is located in the Kutei Basin near Eni's Jangkrik field, which went into production in 2017. The proximity will allow Eni to make use of existing infrastructure to transport the gas.
