Cameroon to Cut Domestic Gas Imports as Local Supply Increases

Cameroon has decided to cut its domestic gas imports by 50% in 2019 compared with 2018 imports as its floating refining system has gone operational to supply local demand, the state-run National Hydrocarbons Corporation, or SNH, said Tuesday.

The country's floating gas processor near the coastal town of Kribi produced 74,000 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas last year, the SNH said.
