Moscow, Neftegaz.RU. Rosneft plans to increase oil production at the Russkoe Tagul and Kuyumbinsk fields from 2 million tons in 2018 to 6 million tons in 2019.

In 2018, Rosneft embarked on a phased launch of large deposits of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YNAO). As part of commercial operation, over 201 million oil was produced at the Russkoe, Tagulskoye, and Kuyumbinskoye fields in 2018. Following the expected completion of the construction and launch of key infrastructure facilities of these fields in 2019, it is planned to significantly increase production volumes and produce about 6 million tons of oil.

The Russkoe field is located on the Yamal Peninsula, above the Arctic Circle, in the Tazovsky region of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. The field is being developed by Tyumenneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft. In 2015, a full-scale field drilling was launched. As of the beginning of 2017, the recoverable reserves of oil and gas condensate fields make up 425 million tons, and a significant part of the reserves is in highly viscous oil. At the end of the third quarter of 2018, more than 170 wells were drilled at the field with an oil production potential of more than 9 thousand tons / day. The Tagulskoye field is located in the T. Urukhan region, in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, near the Vankor field. This minimizes the cost of transporting oil. The Kuyumbinskoye field is located in the Evenkiysky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The field is being developed by Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz, a subsidiary of Slavneft, the joint venture of Rosneft and Gazprom Neft.
