IEA在其备受关注的月度石油市场报告中表示，1月份欧佩克原油产量大幅减少93万桶/日，至日均3083万桶，接近近四年低点。IEA称，产量下降主要受沙特、阿联酋和科威特减产推动。

IEA在这份报告中称，1月份欧佩克领导者同时也是全球最大原油出口国的沙特减产40万桶/日，至1,024万桶/日，减产幅度远超其承诺水平。

不过，IEA表示，俄罗斯1月份的产量仅减少6万桶/日，日均产量为1,171万桶。

IEA的信息显示，1月份欧佩克成员国对最新达成的减产协议的执行率为86%，而参与该协议的非欧佩克产油国的执行率仅为25%。

IEA: OPEC Compliance Soared in January

OPEC compliance with the oil cartel's latest plan to curb crude production soared in January, even as partner producers like Russia largely failed to live up to their end of the bargain, the International Energy Agency said Wednesday.

In its closely watched monthly oil market report, the IEA said crude output in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries plummeted by 930,000 barrels a day in January to average 30.83 million barrels a day--a near four-year low. The cuts were driven by reductions in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, the agency said.

The IEA, a Paris-based organization that advises governments and corporations on energy trends, said in its report that Saudi Arabia--the de facto head of OPEC and the world's largest exporter of crude--had cut production well beyond its agreed level, by 400,000 barrels a day in January, to stand at 10.24 million barrels a day.

Russia, however, only cut output by 60,000 barrels a day, with total production averaging 11.71 million barrels a day, the agency said.

Total compliance by OPEC member states with the latest production-cut deal was 86% in January, while compliance by non-OPEC participants to the agreement was just 25%, according to the IEA.
