Exploration drilling has begun on the Acero block in southern Bolivia

Sucre, Neftegaz.RU. A consortium of Total and Gazprom started construction first well Nancahuasu-X1 on block Azero in Bolivia.

In addition to the Acero site, Gazprom International together with its partners, Total E & P Bolivie and Tecpetrol de Bolivia SA (Argentina), is developing the Incahuasi deposit, located within the Ipati and Aquio sites in southern Bolivia. Also of interest to Gazprom in Bolivia are promising blocks of La Ceiba, Vitiaqua and Madidi, an agreement on the study of Gazprom and YPFB concluded in 2016.
