The Zhenis Block is located in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea at a depth of 75-100 m. The distance to the coast is 80 km, to the Kazakh port of Aktau, 180 km. The license area is 6848 sq. Km. The fact that LUKOIL became interested in the Zhenis unit on the Kazakh shelf of the Caspian Sea in April 2018 was announced by the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan K. Bozumbayev.
