据欧洲石油5月27日消息，卡塔尔石油公司已获得North油田扩建项目海上管道和上层设施的前端工程设计合同。

该项目的范围包括8条无人井口平台顶侧、4条38“干线和4条28”油田内管线的工程设计，预计将耗时12个月完成。

卡塔尔石油公司总裁兼首席执行官Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi阁下表示：“海上上层甲板和管线是North油田扩建工程实施的重要组成部分。我们很高兴麦克德莫特公司能参与这项重要的工作。”

Al-Kaabi阁下补充说：“这份合同之前一系列公告的其他项目都是重要的里程碑交付，我们的策略是将卡塔尔液化天然气生产能力从每年7700万吨提高到1.1亿吨，这一过程目前进展良好，各项工作都在按计划进行。”

Qatar Petroleum awards offshore topsides and pipelines FEED contract for the North Field Expansion Project

Qatar Petroleum has awarded the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) contract for the North Field Expansion Project’s offshore pipelines and topsides facilities.

The scope of this FEED, which was awarded to McDermott Middle East Inc., includes engineering design for eight unmanned wellhead platform topsides, four 38” trunk lines and four 28” intrafield lines, and is expected to take 12 months to complete.

His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi , the President & CEO of Qatar Petroleum, commented on the award and said: “The offshore topsides and pipelines are an important component of the North Field Expansion Project’s implementation. We are pleased to have McDermott take part in this important effort.”

His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi added: “This award comes on the heels of a series of announcements for other components of the project that are all important milestones towards delivering our strategy of increasing Qatar’s LNG production capacity from 77 to 110 million tons per annum, which is progressing well and according to plan on all fronts.”
