据路透社2月28日伦敦报道，俄罗斯第2大天然气生产商诺瓦泰克（Novatek）首席执行官列昂尼德·米赫尔松28日表示，诺瓦泰克将在现货市场上出售其北极液化天然气（LNG）-2项目的一半LNG产量。

诺瓦泰克公司计划在2020年至2023年之间以1980万吨的LNG年生产能力开始北极LNG-2的项目LNG生产。诺瓦泰克在这个项目中拥有60%的股份，据悉诺瓦泰克可能会减少其在这个项目中所持的股份。

大型液化项目往往在开工前就对大部分产量有长期的销售承诺。但目前，现货市场上的LNG销售量正在不断增加。

Novatek to sell 50 pct of its Arctic-LNG offtake on spot market

Independent Russian gas producer Novatek will sell on the spot market half of the production it is entitled to from the Arctic LNG-2 project, its chief executive said.

Plans are for Arctic LNG-2, operated by Novatek, to start operations in 2022-2023 with full production capacity at 19.8 million tonnes a year. Novatek has a 60 percent stake in the project although it may reduce that slightly.

Large liquefaction projects tend to have long-term sales commitments for a large majority of production before building commences. But increasing volumes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is being sold on the spot market now.
