U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles Likely to Fall in DOE Data, Analysts Say

U.S. crude-oil stocks are expected to decline in data due Wednesday from the Department of Energy, according to a survey of analysts and traders by The Wall Street Journal.

Estimates from 13 analysts and traders surveyed showed U.S. oil inventories are projected to have fallen 4.1 million barrels, on average, in the week ended July 19. Twelve of the 13 analysts expect oil stockpiles to fall from the previous week. Forecasts range from a decrease of 8 million barrels to an increase of 1.5 million barrels.
