DJ Oil Output From US Shale Seen Rising

Oil output from the seven main shale regions of the US is forecast to reach a record 8.8M bpd next month, up 85k bpd from August, the EIA says in its monthly Drilling Productivity Report. The data also shows the total inventory of drilled-but-uncompleted wells, or DUCs fell by 100 during July, to 8,108. This could suggest that US shale producers, who have been forced by Wall Street investors to improve free cash flow, are focusing more on turning DUC wells into producing.
