韩国现代重工LNG储罐技术国产化
据世界天然气网站9月27日消息 韩国造船业巨头现代重工(HHI)已与其同胞浦项制铁公司联手对液化天然气储罐的材料进行本地化。
这家造船厂在声明中表示,它将浦项制铁9%的镍钢用于18万吨液化天然气油轮的储罐。迄今为止,HHI一直从国外钢铁企业进口这种材料,但其目的是提高核心材料的国产化率。
去年,现代尾浦造船使用浦项制铁的高锰钢制造双燃料液化天然气船。
HHI使用9%镍钢制造的18万吨液化天然气燃料散货船将于2020年11月交付H-Line航运公司。

HHI localizing tech for LNG fuel tanks
South Korean shipbuilding giant Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has joined forces with its compatriot steelmaker POSCO on localizing materials for the liquefied natural gas fuel tanks.
The shipbuilder said in its statement that it applied POSCO’s 9 percent nickel steel for fuel tanks used on an LNG-fueled 180,000-ton tanker. So far, HHI imported this sort of material from overseas steelmakers but is aiming to increase the localization rate of core materials.
Last year Hyundai Mipo Dockyard used POSCO’s high-manganese steel for dual-fuel LNG vessel.
The 180,000-ton LNG-fueled bulk carrier that HHI used the 9 percent nickel steel for will be delivered to H-Line shipping in November 2020.
